Year 2050: A computer virus has seized control of humanity. Communication has collapsed, kindness and cooperation erased, and the will to resist is gone.
Only a chosen few still have the ability to think for themselves —the Tribes of Humanity. Their mission is to recover what was stolen and, by working together, defeat The Virus and unplug the world.
Designed for Sydney primary schools, this program explores Personal and Social Capabilities including self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills. With a strong emphasis on leadership and the qualities of a good leader, it provides students with valuable personal and social development opportunities.
In the morning lesson students are transported to the year 2050 where they learn that the world is plugged into a computer virus. Flik Firewall (drama teacher in role) recruits them to recover the human qualities that The Virus has stolen.
Primary focus: Teamwork, leadership traits and problem solving.

Students form five tribes representing stolen human qualities—cooperation, persistence, tolerance, kindness, and communication—and create base camps.
The Virus suddenly destroys the camps and infects one tribe. The remaining tribes must rebuild, working together to make major decisions.
One tribe manages to defeat The Virus, sending a coded message and secret task to the others. Each tribe must perform a scene involving a moral decision, will they make the right choice?
Primary focus: Empathy, resilience, inclusivity & persistence.

The tribes have almost reached their goal but they must decode the clues before they can progress. They have shown cooperation, kindness, persistence and tolerance but will they come together as a community in order to defeat The Virus?

They will be problem solving, building connections, interacting, role-playing and having so much fun that the day will fly.
