Tiddalick the Frog: A Dreamtime Story Re-enacted Through Drama and Storytelling

Engage your Melbourne primary school students with the enchanting Dreamtime story of Tiddalick the Frog. This interactive incursion uses drama and storytelling to bring this classic tale to life, offering a creative exploration of its themes.

Tailored for students in Prep to Year 2, this experience promotes curiosity, collaboration and a deeper appreciation of shared stories.

Developed by experienced educators, our workshops align seamlessly with VELS Curriculum, ensuring they support key learning outcomes while captivating students. Through role-playing and interactive storytelling, our teacher will provide your students with an opportunity to re-create the story.

Students become two different characters in the one hour session with costumes such as kangaroos, koalas, wombats, emus, frilled-neck lizards, kookaburras, cockatoos and eels.

To enhance the experience, we provide teachers with follow-up resources and activities to continue the learning journey in the classroom.

While led by non-Indigenous educators, our program is designed with utmost respect and aims to nurture understanding and appreciation of Indigenous Australian culture.
