Children on Pluto receive an S.O.S.—Earth is in crisis from overuse! Can they save our planet?
In this exciting vacation care drama session children build a bio-transporter to travel to Earth and create different scenes or skits as documentaries for the humans around the different ecological hotspots facing Earth.
This sustainability incursion for vacation care is great in promoting older children to leadership roles in the small group scenes.
A skilled and experienced educator will run a one hour session with up to 30 children aged 5-12 years old.
All children become characters in the stories created using a costume, prop or puppet and they work in small groups to create scenes depicting the following environment issues:
Children will develop a deeper understanding of sustainability and their role in creating a greener future by proposing positive local actions that can help global issues.
