Terra Australis – Oi Oi Oi Incursion

Primary school students recreate major Australian historical events from the First Fleet to Federation.

During this incursion students use mime, slow motion, improvisation, props and dialogue, students experience the challenges of building our national identity.

Events covered include the hardships of the goldfields, Eureka Stockade, early explorers and the capture of Ned Kelly.

Suitable for Year 3 to Year 6.

Costumes provided include miners, miner’s wives, explorers, camels, police and the kelly gang

It is ideal for students who have some knowledge of this period.
