Discover the World of Minibeasts Through Drama with Our Primary School Incursion in Melbourne!
Bring the curriculum to life with our engaging minibeasts incursion, where students use drama skills and techniques to dive into the fascinating world of living and non-living things. Developed by qualified and experienced teachers, this interactive workshop combines curriculum-aligned learning with the creativity and excitement of performing arts using drama and movement.
Through role-play, improvisation and storytelling, students embody minibeasts and their interactions in the environment. From buzzing bees to scuttling ants, children explore the unique characteristics and behaviours of these tiny creatures while deepening their understanding of environmental interactions and ecosystems.
The workshop includes opportunities for students to collaborate, problem-solve and express their ideas, fostering critical thinking and teamwork. To enhance the experience, we incorporate Minibeasts dress-ups, making the learning immersive and memorable.
After the incursion, you’ll receive follow-up resources such as activities to extend the learning in your classroom.
