Maggie is very proud of her organic garden and when she decides to go on holiday, her nephew Billy takes charge.
Billy doesn’t understand the important role each minibeast plays in Maggie’s Garden, so through dramatic play, the children must convince Billy not to use pesticide to get rid of them.
Using beautiful and elaborate costumes children will become Butterflies, Ladybirds, Dragonflies, Spiders, Slaters, Caterpillars, Worms and Grasshoppers.
This incursion compliments other garden programs and teaches older children the impact of predators and pesticides in the garden.
Suitable for Year 2 to Year 4.
