- Our drama workshops use movement, music and drama. During the workshops pre-school children use dramatic techniques to create, explore and develop ideas using their bodies.
- A qualified teacher facilitates the sessions at your centre for 3 and 4 year old children using a variety of costumes, music and props.
- Each child gets the opportunity to dress up twice in a session.
- Workshops run for 1 hour and cater for up to 30 children.
- A distinctive feature of our workshops is the wide range of music styles used including classical, rock, big band and synthesiser music.
- We visit both metropolitan and country preschools throughout Victoria.
Fairytale Fiasco!
What a muddle, there’s mixed up trouble in Fairytale Land!
In this drama workshop children enter into an imaginative world where things are not what they seem! A terrible spell has been cast on Fairytale Land where mice roar and dragons flee, wolves snort and pigs huff and puff!
Children fully engage in this delightful and unique workshop using drama, movement, costumes and props. Every child gets a costume and becomes a Fairytale Land character.
Costumes include dwarves, witches/wizards, dragons, mice, cats, wolves and pigs. Equally engaging for girls and boys!
Under The Sea
The ‘Under The Sea’ workshop allows children to immerse themselves in creating, making and presenting an undersea cavern. This drama workshop also focuses on the importance of keeping our waters clean.
Costumes provided include jiggling jellyfish, darting rainbow fish, swaying seaweeds, opulent octopuses and divers.
Jungle Animals
Children explore the Amazon jungle environment using movement to music and drama. The workshop culminates in a hunt for jungle treasures where animals discover the joy of sharing with each other in their environment.
Costumes provided include scarlet macaws, tarantula spiders, iguanas, jaguars and howler monkeys.
Tiddalick the frog
Our ‘Tiddalick The Frog’ drama workshop creates an outback adventure for children to explore a well known Dreamtime story. Children re-enact the Tiddalick story using unique Australian animal costumes that enable them to express themselves and engage in movement, dance and drama.
Costumes provided include emus, kangaroos, frill-necked lizards, wombats and kookaburras.
Journey into Space
This exciting space adventure starts on planet earth where children discuss and discover the solar system. Imagination, drama and a 30 foot rocketship launch the children into space. During their travel, the children visit two distinctly different planets.
Costumes provided include astronauts, stars and moons, lightning, gasses and clouds, ice and crystal, and dark storm.
Kidz Fantasy Circus
Children love the circus with the Big Top, clowns, lions and elephants. The thrill and excitement of actually being in the circus will provide a sense of magic for children participating in this drama workshop. No longer will they be in the audience, instead they will have the chance to leap daringly like a trapeze artist, roar like a lion, cavort like a clown, prance like a pony and sway like an elephant!
Costumes provided include lions, tigers, elephants, clowns, trapeze artists and prancing ponies.
Minibeasts
Let children discover the delights of wriggling like a worm, crawling like a slater and marching like an ant.
Beautiful costumes and delightful music help children explore the environment around them, under the doormat, in the spring garden and beyond. We use the elements of sun, water and soil to discuss camouflage and predators.
Costumes provided include butterflies, dragonflies, ladybirds, slaters, grasshoppers, worms and caterpillars.
Dinosaurs
Our ‘Dinosaur’ workshop weaves a little prehistoric life into your preschool as children explore shapes, sizes, movement and contrasts.
We introduce life-cycle concepts through nest building, nurturing, egg hatching and dinosaur development.
Costumes include tyrannosaurus rex, pterodactyl, stegosaurus, brontosaurus and triceratops. A great workshop for 3 and 4 year old groups.

“The teacher did a great job of involving all the children – even those who did not want to participate were moving and dressing up. The ‘Dinosaurs’ program was presented so well that even our non-English speaking children understood the instructions and thoroughly enjoyed the session.”
